Age Groups for Recreational/Developmental Soccer are as follows:

U6- Birthdate must be within 8-1-03 to 7-31-05
U8 - Birthdate must be within 8-1-01 to 7-31-03
U10 - Birthdate must be within 8-1-99 to 7-31-01
U12- Birthdate must be within 8-1-97 to 7-31-99

A child may play "up" in age group as long as parents and AUSA agree to the move due to skill level. A child may NOT play "down" in age group.

ACADEMY/SELECT PLAYERS
FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS

Players may register online- Visa/MC accepted online. You can register online and then send a check or money order to: AUSA- 1071 C Founders Blvd- Athens, GA 30606. PLEASE NOTE: If you register online and plan to pay by check then we must receive your check within 2 WEEKS of your online registration. If your check is not received, then your child will not be actively registered until payment arrives.

Registration Checklist:

1. If you are a new player this season, complete your medical release form, have it notarized and bring to sign up. Medical Release forms and a notary will be at most of the tryout nights and signing night.
2. Bring a copy of the player's birth certificate to to sign ups.
3. Financial assistance is available on a limited basis. Please contact our office to inquire.

Please note:

• Financial assistance is available on a limited basis. Financial assistance CANNOT be guaranteed at any time - it is first come, first serve basis.
  
• Even if you have received Financial Assistance in previous years, assistance is not guaranteed.
• Financial assistance is for the soccer year (Fall 2009 & Spring 2010). If you need assistance and have not filled out a new application for FALL 09, you need to contact our office.
• All parents receiving financial assistance will be REQUIRED to complete a specified number of volunteer hours. Regular participation at practice and games is required for continuing financial assistance. Players can loose financial assistance for not completing volunteer hours and for lack of regular participation.
